A WWE tag team reunion took place on the March 31 episode of Raw, as Tyler Bate made his long-awaited return from injury, reuniting with Pete Dunne in their home country of England.

The duo, known as New Catch Republic, had been on hiatus since July 2024 after Bate suffered a torn pectoral muscle. Their last match together took place on NXT against Hank Walker & Tank Ledger before Dunne transitioned into a heel singles competitor, feuding with top babyfaces like Sheamus and Penta.

New Catch Republic Returns as Babyfaces

Bate’s return marked a major shift, as New Catch Republic is now back together as a babyface tag team. WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce introduced them as mystery opponents for The New Day during the show.

While New Day emerged victorious, they wasted no time demanding a World Tag Team Championship match against the War Raiders. Following the match, the Raiders confronted New Day, seemingly accepting the challenge for a future title showdown.
